Welcome to Chanteclair Editions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Us

Chanteclair Editions is an online music publishing business selling downloadable digital sheet music and related PDF publications. Contact email: contact@chanteclaireditions.com.

2. Products

All products sold on this website are digital downloadable PDF files. No physical products are shipped. After successful payment, the purchased files will be made available for download immediately.

3. Ordering and Payment

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details. Prices are displayed in GBP. You are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided during checkout is correct.

4. Licence and Permitted Use

When purchasing a PDF from this website, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased file for your own personal, educational, or internal choir use. Unless expressly authorised in writing, you may not:

• resell, redistribute, share, or commercially exploit the files;
• upload the files to public websites or file-sharing services;
• alter copyright notices or publisher information;
• reproduce the files for commercial resale.

Purchasing a PDF does not transfer copyright ownership.

The purchase of this file includes a licence to print or internally distribute the PDF to members of your choir or ensemble, in quantities equal to the number of copies purchased (in multiples of 5), for performance use.

Please do not distribute the PDF or photocopy its printed copy to people outside of your choir. Even if the music is now in the public domain, it takes us a lot of work to research, edit and publish these scores and their learning aids.

A link to download the file will be available immediately on purchase.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including editions, scores, texts, graphics, logos, and downloadable PDFs, is the property of Chanteclair Editions and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Certain images or materials used on this website may be the property of third parties and are used under licence, permission, or applicable free-use terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written permission, except where permitted by law. Purchasing a digital publication from this website does not transfer copyright ownership.

6. Digital Downloads and Consumer Rights

Because the products sold are digital content supplied immediately after purchase, by completing your order you expressly agree that:

• delivery of the digital content begins immediately after purchase; and
• you lose your statutory right to cancel once the download or streaming of the digital content has begun.

This does not affect your legal rights in relation to faulty or defective digital content.

Please Note Regarding Your Purchase

As this publication is delivered instantly as a downloadable PDF document, it is classified as digital content rather than physical goods. By completing your purchase and initiating the download, you expressly consent to receive immediate access to the material and acknowledge that you forfeit your statutory 14-day right to cancel or claim a refund due to a change of mind. We kindly request that you review the product description and contents carefully before finalising your order. 7. Refunds

Due to the nature of downloadable digital products, refunds are generally not offered once files have been downloaded. However, if you experience a technical problem, receive a corrupted file, or accidentally purchase the same item twice, please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve the issue promptly. Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

8. Availability and Website Access

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the website and downloads remain available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue products or services at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chanteclair Editions shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential losses;
• loss of profits, business, or data;
• incompatibility of downloaded files with your software or devices.

Our total liability relating to any purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful.
